Officine Générale Forår 2027: Holder det coolt

juni 27, 2026

Under a punishing afternoon sun on the edge of Paris’ Bassin de l’Arsenal, Officine Générale founder Pierre Mahéo pared back layers from his spring 2027 lineup to suit the heatwave. Guests were handed bottled water and shaded by parasols along the dock, thoughtful touches that echoed a collection quietly recalibrated for a warming world.

“Never, however, could I have imagined such an intense heatwave. Spring and summer have become increasingly complex seasons,” he said. In response, he stripped away weight without abandoning the “complete wardrobe” he insists on delivering. “We need to add the lightest fabric. It has to be light,” he reiterated postshow.

Pragmatic and refined, the lineup centered on fluid, airy tailoring, easy cotton shirts, poplin overshirts, and fine knits in soft, breezy tones, including lilac, washed blues, sand and chalky whites. Denim came in lighter weights, cut as neat jeans or workwear-style jackets, while leather was reduced to polished, minimal pieces rather than heavy outerwear.

Casting once again underlined Mahéo’s emphasis on everyday realism, with a broad range of ages and types on the runway to show how the clothes could live on different bodies and in different lives.
